If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve probably seen that I was able to collaborate with Fitbit. I used to have the first Fitbit Charge HR and I really loved it. That is one of the reasons why I am so honored to collaborate with this brand.
Fitbit sent me the Fitbit Inspire HR. When I opened the box, I saw they added a personal note, which I really like! The packaging was very nice and at first sight, the Fitbit looked beautiful.
The Fitbit is supposed to be used together with the Fitbit app, which is free. You can synchronize the Fitbit with the app so you can see everything you tracked in more detail.
What are the possibilities
- Track your steps
- Track your heart rate
- Find out your average resting heart rate
- Find out how much calories you burn every day
- Track your calories in the app
- Track your workouts
- Track kilometers stepped
- Set reminders to take some steps if you haven’t reached your hourly step goal yet
- Set a goal for the number of workouts you want to do per week
- Track your sleep (how long you were awake, how long you were in a deep sleep…)
- Track your water intake in the app
- Track your weight in the app
- Track your menstrual cycle in the app
- Track exercise
- Set timers
- Set alarms
Like you can see, the possibilities are endless. I can definitely say that Fitbit has added a lot of new features since I had my first Fitbit.
Like I just said, the possibilities are endless. They have improved a lot since my first Fitbit. I really like that they thought of tracking your menstrual cycle, especially since I stopped taking hormonal anti-conception.
The design is simple and minimalist. I didn’t want something eye-catching. I was planning to wear my Fibit every day so I wanted a Fitbit that matches with every outfit. That is definitely the case with this design. I also like that the Fitbit is white because I think it makes the design more feminine.
The Fitbit is comfortable to wear, which is very important since it was made to wear it all day and all night.
The battery lasts a little bit more than 3 days (from 90% to 15%), which is probably less than they market (4 days) but still decent!
The Fitbit really motivates you to move more, especially with the reminders and badges you get when you reach certain goals.
It is possible to add friends in the app and do competitions. I haven’t done any competitions but I like the possibility. I think it is more fun to turn reaching certain goals into a game with your friends.
I love the alarm you can set. The Fitbit just vibrates to wake you up so it doesn’t wake up your partner if you’re sleeping together.
I can’t think of any cons except that the Fitbit can be a bit overwhelming. It is all about goal setting which is great but it can also become an obsession. I tracked my calories and macros for 2 years but I stopped because I got too obsessed with all the numbers. Not only with calories and macros but also with my steps, my water intake… However, I don’t think this is Fibit’s fault but it is something you should be aware of. If you’re too obsessed with numbers or you are struggling with an eating disorder, I wouldn’t recommend buying a Fitbit until you are mentally healthy.
Overall, I would definitely recommend the Fibit. I think it can really motivate you to keep active and reach your fitness goals.
