Who would have ever thought something like this would ever happen? Definitely not me. This situation is very weird and uncomfortable but we will have to make the best of it! That is why I am sharing 7 tips with you to stay on top of things.
1. Focus on work
I have a lot of work for school. My internship got cancelled and we will probably get a huge task instead. One of my exams might also be rescheduled to an earlier date. That means I will have to finish my thesis as soon as I can so I am prepared for what is about to come next.
If you don’t have any work to do, you can start that hobby you’ve always wanted to do or you can start that business you’ve always wanted. Keep yourself busy!
2. Keep the same routine
Don’t go to bed late and wake up late. It will make you less productive, sluggish and lazy (unless that’s what you need right now of course, no judging here).
3. Keep a working routine
Right before the lockdown started, I was working for my internship at home from 9-5. I noticed that I was very productive this way so I decided to keep the same routine and work on my thesis from 9-5 with a 1 hour lunch break in between.
4. Get in your steps!
I try to do at least 250 steps an hour. My Fitbit reminds me every hour if I haven’t done my steps yet.
5. Stay active
I do yoga or work out every day during the week. It helps me to stay healthy and energized!
6. Go for walks
This is also a part of being active. Did you know if you set a step goal, you will probably burn a lot more calories? So you can afford eat some extra snacks while you’re at home haha.
7. Keep in touch
I think this is also a part of staying fit and healthy. Keep in touch with your family and friends. I try to video call my friends and family and send quick messages to check up on them. Almost everyone is having a hard time right now.
